    Not sure what state or country you’re from but I got one just recently(Victoria, Australia) exceding the limit by less than 10kmh fined $142 and 1 demerit point off my licence.

    Its the same as a speeding violation, and the amount of the fine varies with the speed. Here are also points issued, and the possibility of a surcharge from your insurance company.
